colorful botanical collage

This is my most recent collection. I've intentionally 'stretched' myself by breaking out of my usual color pallete (a mix of gorgeous blues and beachy neutrals) for these prtints and collages. The colors are vibrant the botanicals are somehow dynamic and sweet at the same time. Many of the papers have been printed and painted by hand, with stencils, and feature prints ofwildflowers, leaves grasses and botanicals collected in and around Aquidneck Island (Newport, RI).
